Phlebotomist w/Testing

Location: Hermiston, Umatilla, Oregon City, Portland, West Linn, and McMinnville, Oregon; Kennewick, Washington, United States. Onsite work in a patient service center or client office, with travel to additional sites as needed.

Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; additional hours and rotating Saturdays may be required.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Perform moderately complex testing in accordance with CLIA standards.
• Prepare specimens for testing, maintain patient and specimen logs, and enter data accurately.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Provide patient service, complete administrative duties, and travel to additional sites as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program may substitute for work experience.
• Ability to pass a standardized color-blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime and rotating Saturdays as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and independent-working skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and in a team environment.

Nice to have

• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
• At least six months of current or prior hirify.global phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency.
