Network Engineer III (Cisco)

Salary: $109,000–$126,000 annually, plus a 15% annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise campus, data center, wireless, firewall, security, and telephony infrastructure.
• Monitor network, voice, and firewall performance; identify issues proactively and report outages to stakeholders.
• Lead enterprise infrastructure projects and contribute to technology roadmaps, business cases, and improvement plans.
• Design security measures, remediate vulnerabilities, and maintain configuration, topology, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and infrastructure failures while supporting users and maintaining ITSM service-level agreements.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and identify opportunities to automate repeatable processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined network engineering experience covering routing, switching, wireless, 802.1X, security, firewall management, disaster recovery, and network architecture.
• 2+ years of experience in technical support or a service desk environment.
• Advanced expertise in enterprise networking, Cisco routing and switching, network security, monitoring, patching, performance optimization, and infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with Aruba Wireless, firewall administration, network interoperability, technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, solution design, and documentation skills.
• At least one of CCNA, CCIE, or CompTIA Security+ is required upon hire; CCNP or equivalent is preferred.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of 802.1X authentication.
• CCNP or equivalent certification; expired certifications may be considered with demonstrated relevant skills.
