Operations Project Associate (Telehealth)

Location: Remote from Honduras, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, or the Philippines; overlap with US business hours required

What you will do

• Design and optimize patient intake workflows covering documentation, insurance verification, and financial obligations.
• Build systems and dashboards to monitor care quality, clinician credentials, payer enrollment, compliance, and operational KPIs.
• Lead clinician credentialing workflows, including state registration verification and enrollment with major insurance payers.
• Develop telehealth-specific quality assurance, audit, accountability, and managed-care frameworks.
• Identify automation opportunities and streamline scheduling, communication, service retention, and other operational workflows.
• Support multi-state expansion by improving backend systems without proportionally increasing operational overhead.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of healthcare operations experience, including at least 3 years working with US-based credentialing, payer enrollment, and insurance verification systems.
• Hands-on experience with major payer systems such as Blue Cross, Anthem, or equivalent, and knowledge of credentialing across provider types.
• Experience designing workflow optimization, process improvement, quality assurance initiatives, and KPI dashboards in regulated healthcare environments.
• Ability to work autonomously on backend operations projects, identify problems, and design solutions independently.
• Demonstrated experience automating manual processes and implementing technology solutions to improve efficiency.
• English at C1+ CEFR level for communication with US-based leadership and operational documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience in mental health, behavioral health, or telehealth operations.
• Experience implementing AI tools, automation platforms, or workflow optimization software in healthcare.
• Experience building systems from scratch at a scaling startup or mid-market healthcare organization.
• Familiarity with multi-state licensing, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience using dashboards and KPIs to identify operational problems and measure improvement.
