Maintenance Planner Scheduler (Manufacturing)

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin, United States; onsite role. Travel may include up to 5% domestic travel. Relocation may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $95,591–$116,834 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Prioritize, plan, schedule, and follow up on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance work.
• Review work orders to define scope, labor hours, materials, crafts, skills, priorities, and scheduling requirements.
• Inspect equipment, identify safety issues and permitting needs, and maintain bills of materials and stockroom spares.
• Coordinate maintenance, production, engineering, stores, outside services, and vendors through work completion.
• Manage work-control status and backlogs, including jobs requiring significant equipment downtime.
• Track planning and scheduling metrics, prepare reports, and improve estimates and preventive maintenance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher.
• At least six years of maintenance and/or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance processes, work-order systems, planning and scheduling, and storeroom processes.
• Ability to estimate labor and material requirements, read blueprints and technical drawings, and create or revise sketches.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP, along with strong organizational, communication, and planning skills.
• U.S. work authorization without employment visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Four years of experience as a maintenance planner scheduler.
• Skilled-trade experience in a rock-crushing process.
• Experience coordinating engineering designs and vendor-delivered maintenance services.
