Manager, Technical Deployment (Financial Services)

Location: London, UK; hybrid policy requires staff to be in an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time. Travel to customer sites is expected 25–50%.

Annual salary: £255,000–£325,000 GBP

What you will do

• Hire, manage, develop, and retain Technical Deployment Leads supporting Financial Services engagements.
• Own portfolio health, customer outcomes, executive relationships, steering committees, and escalation support.
• Lead the most complex engagements from delivery planning and statement of work through production deployment.
• Set standards for SOW quality, MVP scoping, value measurement, and delivery excellence.
• Build reusable solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks to scale the practice.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Research on qualification, go-to-market materials, use cases, and delivery learnings.

Requirements

• 8+ years leading enterprise AI/ML delivery and at least 3 years directly managing people responsible for delivery outcomes.
• Experience building and leading technical delivery teams, preferably embedded or forward-deployed teams.
• Production experience delivering AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions.
• Deep Financial Services experience, including work with banks, insurers, or asset managers and familiarity with model risk, security, and compliance reviews.
• Ability to evaluate architecture trade-offs, judge agent designs, quantify TCO/ROI, and measure post-deployment impact.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience in a relevant field.
