Senior Consultant (AI & Advanced Technology)

Location: Rome, Italy; hybrid role with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients

Salary: Starting from €32,000 gross annually for a full-time permanent position; higher compensation may be considered based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Support clients with integrated risk management frameworks and the digital transformation of risk management processes.
• Analyze, map, and redesign business and control processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and automation opportunities.
• Gather business and functional requirements and translate them into process improvement roadmaps and technology-enabled solutions.
• Design and implement AI use cases, intelligent automation, process mining, advanced analytics, dashboards, and early warning systems.
• Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, audit, and technology stakeholders on governance and transformation initiatives.
• Deliver projects across analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, go-live, change management, and client presentations while mentoring junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Management or Industrial Engineering with excellent academic results.
• Experience in consulting projects involving business process analysis, process reengineering, operating model reviews, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, functional specifications, stakeholder workshops, and technology-driven implementations.
• Knowledge of AI-enabled business transformation, intelligent automation, process mining, analytics, and risk management processes.
• Strong project management, client-facing communication, autonomous workstream management, and proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, AI-agent orchestration, model evaluation, guardrails, and AI governance.
• Knowledge of internal controls, internal audit, compliance, assurance, ISO 31000, or the COSO Framework.
• Experience with process mining, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power BI, DAX, Qlik, Azure, SQL, or SAS.
• Experience reviewing end-to-end finance, operations, procurement, compliance, or risk processes.
• Relevant certifications in process improvement, project management, audit, or risk management.
