Senior AI Tech Architect (AI)

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid work model with office presence shaped by business needs and travel to client sites in Italy and abroad.

Base salary: EUR 62,000–66,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise-grade AI engineering platforms and reusable delivery patterns.
• Own governance frameworks for AI-powered systems, including trust boundaries, identity models, validation hierarchies, and audit mechanisms.
• Architect evaluation and security programs, including red-teaming, adversarial testing, and compliance-by-design in CI/CD pipelines.
• Translate executive business intent into multi-horizon AI architectures and integration paths for existing technology landscapes.
• Act as a technical authority in client-facing engagements with C-suite and CTO-level stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, AI Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–9 years of experience in software development or technical roles, with enterprise-scale cloud, backend, or systems integration experience.
• Experience designing complex IT architectures, legacy modernization, enterprise solutions, agentic AI, LLM orchestration, and AI-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience delivering LLM applications, multi-agent architectures, and ML platforms in production enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, platform engineering, context engineering, and secure AI architecture.
• Strong written and verbal Italian and English; minimum B2 required, with C1 preferred.
