Staff Software Engineer (AdTech)

Location: Remote or hybrid work out of the London office; in-person team gatherings are expected at least once per quarter.

What you will do

• Own the technical direction for new ad formats in mobile SDKs across iOS, Android, and Windows.
• Lead ambiguous, cross-team initiatives from problem definition through rollout, including automation quality and creative/SDK interoperability.
• Drive multi-quarter improvements to system efficiency, reliability, and rendering performance.
• Define testing standards and lead automated, unit, and integration testing strategies.
• Design experimentation and canary-release strategies for ad unit performance.
• Technically lead and mentor engineers, represent the team in roadmap discussions, and contribute to hiring and leveling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript ES6+, CSS preprocessors, and HTML5, including architectural decision-making.
• Experience shaping Agile processes for an engineering team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across engineering and product without formal authority.
• Ability to work remotely or hybrid from the London office and attend in-person gatherings at least quarterly.

• Mobile application development experience.
• Advanced automated testing with AWS Device Farm, iOS and Android simulators, Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
