Shift Coach Team Leader (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Based at the Warrington Warehouse, Omega South, WA5 3TZ, UK; this is a site-based role. Flexible working patterns may be available, including regular flexibility to support twilight or early-hour shifts.

What you will do

• Lead, support, and develop the Shift Coach team delivering on-the-job training and coaching.
• Deliver practical training across operational areas and coordinate inductions for new colleagues.
• Facilitate annual and refresher learning, including Health & Safety and inclusion-focused sessions.
• Partner with agency providers to meet legal training requirements and support learners.
• Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation for site-based colleagues.
• Analyse learning data and work with Operations, Engineering, and Food Technical teams to improve training outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring people in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to deliver clear instructions, provide feedback, and adapt coaching to different learners.
• Experience using digital tools and systems to track training outcomes.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, quality assurance, and production processes.
• Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or willingness to work towards it.
• Level 3 Food Safety qualification, or willingness to complete it within six months of joining.
