PDK Developer and Support Engineer (Cadence)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automation utilities using Cadence SKILL and Linux scripting languages.
• Provide support for Process Design Kits, design capture tools, and layout tools to global design centers and technical contractors.
• Develop and maintain internal PDKs and customize external foundry PDKs.
• Create scripts integrating simulation, physical verification, and parasitic-extraction collateral within PDKs.
• Contribute to methodology development, flow automation, environment configuration, and design data management.
• Deliver user training and maintain technical web documentation while collaborating with design, technology development, and CAD teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design, including schematic, layout design, and physical verification.
• Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and supporting Process Design Kits.
• Experience automating Cadence IC tools and programming with Python, SKILL, Bash, Perl, Tcl/Tk, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with EDA tools used in integrated-circuit design.
• Fluent English and excellent technical communication skills.
• Ability to balance user-support requests with development work.

• Experience with Design Data Management software.
