Automation Service Technician (Automotive)

Location: Satu Mare, Romania; availability for business travel and a 3-shift schedule required.

What you will do

• Diagnose faults in PLC hardware, camera systems, robot hardware, and automated machinery.
• Eliminate machine error messages and restore equipment to operational condition.
• Manually operate robots, return them to their initial positions, and execute programs in manual mode.
• Assist with the installation of automated equipment, robots, PLCs, and control systems.
• Perform complex maintenance and repair work on technical installations, machinery, and tools.
• Install and adjust repaired or manufactured equipment, modify processing programs, conduct functional tests, and prepare documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum vocational school education, preferably in electronics, mechanics, or another technical field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of robotics and PLC systems, including PLC programming and debugging.
• Intermediate English proficiency required.
• Availability for business travel and 3-shift work required.
• Analytical, process- and goal-oriented approach, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills.
