Graduate Talent (ISCP SoC Frontend)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work

What you will do

• Develop pre-silicon functional validation strategies, test plans, and verification methodologies for SoC and chipset designs.
• Collaborate with architects, micro-architects, and design teams on technical readiness and validation approaches.
• Design and execute simulations to verify the functionality and performance of integrated IPs.
• Debug complex issues at the IP and SoC levels to support high-quality delivery.
• Improve verification flows through automation tools and techniques.
• Create technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 0–1 years of experience through internships, academic projects, coursework, or training; or a Master’s degree in a related field with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
• Fundamental understanding of digital design, simulation, and verification methodologies.
• Experience with Python or Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with EDA tools such as ModelSim or Synopsys VCS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of computer architecture or related subsystems.
• Exposure to FPGA, emulation, or low-level system debugging.
• Interest in learning and contributing to innovative SoC technologies.
