What you will do

• Support and optimize substrate manufacturing equipment and automation implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and deliver automation improvements.
• Design, test, and implement automation solutions across hardware and software components.
• Integrate control systems, sensors, actuators, and programmable logic controllers to improve equipment performance.
• Deliver factory and equipment digitalization solutions and support IIoT proliferation.
• Document technical specifications, project progress, outcomes, and compliance information while contributing to research and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Computer Science candidates with hardware exposure and interest are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience with technical report writing, field data collection, equipment condition assessment, and Digital Twin concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in operational environments.
• Ability to work with manufacturing equipment, automation integration, and engineering analysis.

Nice to have

• SolidWorks or equivalent engineering software.
• Programming skills in C++, Python, SQL, or PLC programming.
• Knowledge of communication protocols, hardware-software interfaces, and analog/digital signal processing.
