Specialist, Software Engineer (Full Stack, AWS) (AI)

Location: Hybrid work from the Columbus, Ohio; Des Moines, Iowa; or Scottsdale, Arizona offices two days per week, with remote internal associates also considered. This position may be filled within any of the lower 48 U.S. states.

Salary: National range of $95,500–$177,500 annually; expected starting range of $95,500–$143,500 annually.

What you will do

• Build and enhance the hirify.global Financial Claims Desktop and Suitability capabilities.
• Develop solutions using Agentic AI, Angular, Java, REST APIs, microservices, and Informatica PowerCenter.
• Translate business intent and new-business rules into designs, acceptance criteria, and reusable engineering patterns.
• Analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document, and deploy applications in an agile environment.
• Apply secure software engineering and DevSecOps practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership, coach teammates, conduct code reviews, and manage medium to large project deliverables.

Requirements

• Four or more years of software engineering, analysis, or related technology experience.
• Completion of undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field; relevant technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates may substitute.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and ability to solve complex business and development problems.
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide technical guidance to others.
• Insurance or financial services knowledge is a plus.
