Senior Financial Systems Analyst (Aderant)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Aderant Expert customizations for Classic and Framework platforms.
• Create and modify financial document templates using the DocuDraft toolkit.
• Design scalable data warehouses, data models, and ETL pipelines for reporting and analysis.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data endpoints for financial application integration.
• Support financial system module deployment, third-party integrations, troubleshooting, and second-tier user support.
• Translate business requirements into system solutions, support UAT, maintain documentation, and mentor junior developers and analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance and Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with Aderant Expert customization and database design.
• Experience with Visual Studio, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and PowerShell.
• Strong knowledge of law firm financial systems and database structures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with IronPython and API-Rest Framework.
• Experience with Expert Image, EIS, Intapp Time, Chrome River, and related data warehouses.
• Familiarity with MS Access, Power Apps, and business intelligence solutions.
• Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
