Business System Analyst

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States. The role requires legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business system requirements, including data extraction and reporting needs.
• Configure operational systems and create standardized solutions for business users.
• Execute unit and integration testing, and coordinate system testing and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot application problems and resolve end-user issues.
• Coach business users on applications and workflows.
• Extract and analyze data using vendor query tools, SQL, and business intelligence tools; audit data for consistency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of experience with business systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.
• At least one year of experience analyzing and reporting data from multiple systems and sources.
• Proficiency in end-user systems documentation and willingness to work in a multi-platform environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Availability for a rotational on-call schedule outside standard business hours may be required.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SQL, XML/XSLT, JavaScript, Apex, .NET, Java, and SOAP or REST web services.
• Analyst or administrator experience with Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar systems.
• Understanding of SaaS application data structures, workflows, forms, and workflow design.
