Business Systems Analyst (Banking)

Location: Hoover, Alabama, United States; onsite at the Riverchase Operations Center. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Salary: $69,143.25 minimum to $87,850.00 median annual target range.

What you will do

• Analyze business processes, needs, costs, and benefits to align technology solutions with business initiatives.
• Document business requirements and specifications for moderately complex sales and service consumer applications.
• Evaluate how proposed changes affect systems, processes, procedures, and end-user experience.
• Coordinate system release management, user acceptance testing, procedure reviews, training support, and pilot or production support.
• Analyze system functionality and design issues, recommend remediation strategies, and support business process improvements.
• Facilitate communication among business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and management while supporting risk and compliance objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with seven years of related experience, or a bachelor's degree with three years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of business process analysis, systems and software development concepts, testing practices, and analytical methods.
• Ability to research data, derive facts, manage priorities, and coordinate multiple concurrent activities.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Banking or financial services experience.
• Application support and troubleshooting experience.
• Business intelligence tools, CRM systems, SQL, or Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with Agile or waterfall methodologies and third-party vendor relationship management.
• Experience with sales and service applications.
