Engineer for Rapid Decompression Analysis (d/f/m)

Location: Bremen Area, Germany; on-site work in Bremen. Business travel worldwide may be required once or twice per month.

hirify.global develops aircraft and aerospace products, with this role located in the Flight Physics department of hirify.global Operations GmbH.

What you will do

• Compile and analyze aircraft cabin and cargo configuration data to evaluate aerodynamic characteristics using gas-dynamic simulations.
• Apply data science techniques, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization, to identify trends in complex geometric and gas-dynamic data.
• Develop algorithms and scripts for data processing, analysis, and automation using programming and coding.
• Conduct numerical analyses and simulations of complex cabin configurations and provide actionable technical insights.
• Collaborate with cabin and cargo design, stress, and systems engineering teams throughout the aircraft development lifecycle.
• Manage and contribute to rapid decompression analysis projects while meeting delivery and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Background in aerodynamics, ideally focused on internal flows, with experience in structural and/or cabin design.
• Knowledge of mathematics, numerical analysis, simulation tools, complex 3D geometries, CAD, and engineering drawings.
• Programming experience, preferably with Python, MATLAB, or similar languages.
• Proficiency in CATIA for 3D design and modeling.
• Experience with project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of technical projects.
• Negotiation-level English and basic German language skills are required.
