Senior Flight Dynamics Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and refine flight dynamics models to improve simulation accuracy and performance.
• Analyze flight-test data for system identification and validate model behavior.
• Define and evolve the simulation model architecture.
• Build and maintain simulation programs that replicate product–environment interactions without real-world testing.
• Investigate simulation-performance and model-fidelity challenges while collaborating with Flight Control and program engineering teams.
• Coach and mentor team members on model development best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in similar positions.
• Proven experience with dynamic systems modeling and aircraft simulation.
• Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
• Expertise in data analysis and system identification using test data.
• Excellent English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying and integrating simulation models, including CI/CD.
• Programming skills in C, Python, or other languages for automation and model enhancement.
• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
• German language skills.
