TL;DR
Backend Software Engineer (AI Training): Developing and reviewing backend features, APIs, scalable services, and realistic coding tasks for AI training with an accent on debugging, secure coding, and deterministic evaluation. Focus on refactoring and optimizing codebases, designing challenging programming problems, and conducting security-focused reviews across Python, Java, Rust, C++, and TypeScript.
Location: Remote; flexible schedule; approximately 15 hours per week.

What you will do
- Develop and review backend features, APIs, and scalable services for AI training tasks.
- Create and solve realistic programming problems with deterministic evaluation criteria.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and code quality problems.
- Refactor and optimize existing codebases.
- Apply secure coding practices and conduct security-focused reviews.
- Provide clear technical feedback and documentation.
Requirements
- Strong backend development experience with Python, Java, Rust, C++, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with debugging, automated testing, performance optimization, and code reviews.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Experience with cybersecurity, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or security audits.
