What you will do
- Design realistic coding tasks involving backend feature implementation and bug fixes.
- Create tasks reflecting authentic backend engineering workflows and software development challenges.
- Develop deterministic verifiers that accept valid solutions and reject incorrect implementations.
- Build and validate solutions involving scalable services, APIs, debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.
- Review code quality, maintainability, correctness, and adherence to technical requirements.
- Document assumptions, expected behavior, edge cases, validation requirements, and applicable security considerations.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on backend development experience with Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or a comparable language.
- Experience building scalable backend services and APIs.
- Practical experience with debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.
- Experience reviewing code and assessing software quality, correctness, and maintainability.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and foundational computer science concepts.
- Strong technical communication, documentation, and independent problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Prior AI experience is not required.
