Attorney - Corporate Lawyer (Insurance)

What you will do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and corporate documentation.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice on contracting strategies, contractual risks, disputes, and strategic initiatives.
• Support corporate governance, including board and shareholder documentation, statutory filings, corporate records, and secretarial services.
• Assist with incorporations, branches, restructurings, capital changes, and other corporate transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Advise on insurance distribution, the Insurance Distribution Directive, regulatory governance, outsourcing structures, and customer-facing processes.
• Support interactions with auditors, notaries, registries, insurance partners, regulators, and supervisory authorities.

Requirements

• Professional legal qualification.
• 2–4 years of experience in insurance or other regulated sectors, corporate law, consumer law, and commercial law.
• Fluent Spanish and English required.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations and cross-border projects.
• Business-minded, pragmatic, proactive, well organized, and able to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with insurance distribution frameworks, including the Insurance Distribution Directive and local implementing legislation.
• French language skills.
