Legal Counsel / Manager, Trade & Ethics

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work with up to 2 days per week from home

What you will do

• Advise business units on sanctions, export controls, and related compliance requirements.
• Support the mitigation of economic crime risks, including fraud and corruption.
• Manage the whistleblowing hotline, including case triage and investigative steps.
• Lead decision-making for engaging market third parties such as sales agents and in-country delivery partners.
• Draft and coordinate practical contracts, governance documents, and deal materials.
• Engage with customers, suppliers, regulators, industry participants, colleagues, and management across global regions.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of corporate law experience.
• Legal qualifications and a legal or regulatory background are preferred for the Trade & Ethics scope.
• Experience working autonomously in one or more legal domains.
• Strong international orientation, including experience with multiple service providers and legal systems.
• Clear, concise, and empathetic written and spoken English is required.
• Strong organization, negotiation, information-gathering, business judgment, and relationship-management skills.
