Operational Resilience Analyst

Location: Hybrid role based in Kildean, Stirling or Edinburgh, United Kingdom

M&G provides asset management, insurance, savings, and investment solutions through its Asset Management and Life operating segments.

What you will do

• Embed the Operational Resilience framework across the M&G Life business.
• Support business continuity planning, Business Impact Analysis, resource dependency reviews, and contingency solution assessments.
• Identify and maintain Important Business Services, complete Service Impact Analysis, and establish Impact Tolerances.
• Prepare and conduct Business Continuity Plan and scenario testing, recording vulnerabilities and supporting remediation.
• Support incident and crisis management activities, including senior management updates and post-incident lessons learned.
• Coordinate resilience oversight across third parties, intra-group arrangements, technology, data, people, facilities, and enterprise risk teams.

Requirements

• Experience in an Operational Resilience role within financial services; experience in a Life business is advantageous.
• Strong awareness of FCA and PRA Operational Resilience regulation and its relationship to traditional Business Continuity practices.
• Knowledge of third-party resilience, business continuity, process analysis, change management, and governance.
• Experience designing and executing Business Continuity and Important Business Service scenario testing.
• Experience identifying, assessing, and planning remediation for resilience risks.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working specifically within a Life business.
• Ability to deputise for the Operational Resilience Lead.
