TL;DR
Embedded Intelligence Analyst (EMEA) (geopolitical risk and security intelligence): Monitoring intelligence sources, assessing risks, and producing strategic and tactical intelligence products for a global social media client's EMEA operations with an accent on geopolitical analysis, crisis management, travel security, and protective intelligence. Focus on identifying emerging threats, briefing senior stakeholders, and supporting complex cross-functional intelligence projects.

Location: Onsite at the client’s London office, United Kingdom, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, with the potential to work remotely one day per week. Occasional out-of-hours support may be required during emergencies and time-sensitive matters.

What you will do

  • Monitor open-source and vendor intelligence feeds to identify risks to business operations across EMEA.
  • Conduct risk assessments covering personnel, assets, operations, travel, and special events.
  • Produce strategic, tactical, and situational-awareness reports with actionable analysis for security stakeholders.
  • Manage intelligence requirements, centralise relevant sources, and maintain comprehensive intelligence coverage.
  • Lead cross-functional intelligence projects involving high-impact events and emerging threats.
  • Brief senior stakeholders and support crisis management, business continuity, travel security, and protective intelligence investigations.

Requirements

  • Approximately 4–5 years of experience in intelligence collection, analysis, and production, focused on business risk and security in a corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Journalism, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and fluency in at least one regional language.
  • Strong expertise in geopolitical risk and security trends relevant to a global technology company, particularly across EMEA.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques; SQL and/or Python preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, project-management, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally.

Nice to have

  • Further professional certification or postgraduate education.
  • Membership in professional intelligence or security organisations such as ASIS, ATAP, AIRIP, or Analysts’ Roundtable.
