Senior Engineer, FullStack, Retail Media/AdTech Solutions (m/f/d)

Location: Remote within Germany, with occasional on-site collaboration at offices in Berlin or Cologne. Up to 20 work-from-home days per year may be taken anywhere in the EU.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize Node.js and TypeScript microservices for performance, modularity, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Build and maintain React applications with Next.js, Material UI, Formik, and JSON Schema validation.
• Design responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.
• Integrate MongoDB, Redis, Algolia, BullMQ, and RabbitMQ for real-time ad delivery, insights, queuing, and background processing.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics on end-to-end Retail Media features, technical reviews, sprint planning, and solution discovery.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, and modern web technologies.
• Deep experience building scalable microservices and frontend applications in cloud-native environments.
• Commitment to clean, maintainable, efficient code, testing, scalability, and long-term system health.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience integrating AI into real systems and shipping AI-enabled features.
• Must be based in Germany; occasional on-site collaboration in Berlin or Cologne may be required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AdTech or Retail Media platforms such as Kevel, Google Ad Manager, CitrusAd, or TopSort.
