Software Engineer II (AI/Shopify): Designing and developing scalable features for a cloud-based SaaS platform with deep Shopify integrations across merchant dashboards, admin portals, and embeddable widgets, with an accent on full-stack ownership, cloud-native architecture, and AI-assisted engineering. Focus on architecting resilient solutions, resolving production performance issues, improving technical debt, and mentoring engineers across Next.js/React, TypeScript/GraphQL, and AWS Lambda.
Location: Remote from anywhere in Vietnam; listed locations include Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex features for cloud-based SaaS applications.
- Own medium- to large-sized features from technical design through deployment and monitoring.
- Architect scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions across frontend and backend systems.
- Identify technical debt, improve architecture, and resolve complex production, performance, and scalability issues.
- Provide technical guidance through code reviews and mentoring for junior engineers.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on technical requirements and evaluate new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience, with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
- Expert proficiency in programming principles, design patterns, and at least one frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Expert proficiency in at least one backend language such as Node.js, PHP, Python, or Go, with microservices experience.
- Extensive experience with database design, optimization, NoSQL databases, CI/CD, automated deployment, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience leading small to medium-sized development teams in an Agile environment, plus monitoring, logging, alerting, and web application security.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering and regular use of AI coding assistant tools.
