EHS Specialist (Environmental Health & Safety)

Location: Hybrid; permanent legal authorization to work in the United States is required without current or future sponsorship

Base salary: $48,400–$90,000 per year, plus potential performance-based incentives

What you will do

• Gather data for client environmental permitting and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental licenses, permits, reports, and other regulatory documentation.
• Conduct technical research and prepare environmental reports.
• Perform compliance audits and facility walkthrough inspections in complex manufacturing settings.
• Recommend corrective actions based on audit findings.
• Deliver technical training on hazardous waste, DOT hazardous materials, SPCC, and stormwater compliance.

Requirements

• Permanent U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future
• Bachelor of Science degree
• Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, EPCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, DOT Hazardous Material Regulations, and applicable state regulations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge of EPA reporting systems such as CDX, TRI-MeWeb, WIDNR Switchboard, WI WHOPRS, MN RCRA Info, and MPCA e-Services.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or an environmental discipline.
• Previous experience in EHS consulting.
