Salary: $79,300–$105,600 USD per annum

What you will do

  • Ensure environmental regulatory compliance at the Lake Resource Recovery Facility and Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility.
  • Maintain PSD and Title V operating requirements and prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual emissions reports.
  • Analyze CEMS emissions data and prepare technical notifications, EPA and DOE submissions, GHG reports, and EIA reports.
  • Coordinate annual stack testing, CEMS and GHG audits, residue testing, stormwater activities, and other permit-required work.
  • Act as the environmental liaison for client owners, FDEP regulators, vendors, contractors, audits, and inspections.
  • Work with facility operators to resolve and prevent environmental issues, develop procedures and training, and complete environmental projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or an equivalent field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in environmental work, preferably in air compliance or solid waste.
  • Working knowledge of Florida and federal air environmental regulations; waste and water knowledge is beneficial.
  • Strong written, oral, computer, technical, and report-writing skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Nice to have

  • Waste-to-energy experience.
  • Knowledge of air pollution control systems and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems.
  • Experience with environmental auditing, profiled waste programs, landfills, or metal recyclers.
