Team Lead Warehouse & Logistics for cUAs (Defence Technology)

hirify.global develops, designs, and produces small unmanned aerial systems, including electric VTOL platforms with edge computing and real-time AI-powered data processing for defence, security, and public-sector customers.

What you will do

• Lead inbound, outbound, storage, picking, packing, kitting, and shipping operations.
• Manage material availability for production schedules and customer deliveries.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, discrepancy resolution, and inventory-control processes.
• Coordinate domestic and international logistics, transportation providers, customs, export control, and trade compliance.
• Establish warehouse KPIs, reporting, SOPs, and WMS and ERP processes while improving material flows and reducing supply-chain risks.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Engineering, and support audits and compliance activities.

Requirements

• Degree or vocational qualification in logistics, supply chain management, operations, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience leading warehouse and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in inventory management, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and production material flow.
• Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems, warehouse-efficiency improvements, and inventory-accuracy initiatives.
• Knowledge of customs, international shipping, trade compliance, quality, safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent German and English required.

Nice to have

• Experience in defence, aerospace, electronics, UAV, or other high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with controlled goods, export-controlled products, or military programmes.
• Lean Management, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certifications.
• Experience with greenfield projects, new-site setups, or rapidly scaling operations.
