TL;DR
Finance Manager (Financial Accounting/Commercial Finance): Managing month-end accounting, budgeting, forecasting, business case reviews, and strategic financial planning for a fast-growing transport organisation with an accent on data interpretation, commercial accounting, and process improvement. Focus on analysing P&L performance, identifying risks and opportunities, improving finance systems, and building strong relationships with senior management.
Location: Office-based in Manchester, Greater Manchester
Salary: £60,000–£70,000 per annum

What you will do
- Manage month-end accounting activities.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Review business cases and conduct P&L analysis.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning.
- Lead continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.
- Build relationships with senior management and identify business risks and opportunities.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
- Previous experience working in an SME organisation.
- Ability to interpret large volumes of data and deliver impactful insights.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to develop strong relationships across the business.
Nice to have
- Experience with Power BI.
