Superintendent (Construction)

Location: Danville, Kentucky, with travel among designated communities during daytime and nighttime

What you will do

• Manage and complete the 13 Milestones of Construction specified in JDE.
• Oversee all phases of new home construction and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Coordinate municipal permitting, regulations, and building code requirements.
• Control cost overruns, manage budgets, and support production in designated communities.
• Communicate with customers, management, and personnel while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Use DRH Construction applications on smartphones, tablets, or laptops.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Two to four years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle capable of carrying supplies.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, climbing, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards, elevated areas, uneven terrain, weather conditions, and loud noise.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college.
• Experience working effectively in a high-pressure, high-production environment.
