Superintendent - New Installation (Elevator Construction)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States. Onsite construction role requiring regular jobsite, crew, and day-one visits.

Salary: $90,000–$140,000 per year, plus annual incentive compensation of 0%–75%.

What you will do

• Manage elevator installation and construction operations from survey through project completion.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate construction field employees, including hiring and performance management.
• Plan installation schedules, manpower needs, materials, subcontracting, and project priorities.
• Administer safety programs, conduct audits, and monitor jobsite activities and quality.
• Review job status, financial reports, risks, change orders, purchase orders, and other project approvals.
• Coordinate with customers, owners, contractors, consultants, architects, union representatives, corporate departments, and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills, supported by a bachelor’s degree, two years of branch departmental management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to write reports, contract proposals, and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to management and customer questions.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to work in Los Angeles, California, with regular onsite and jobsite responsibilities.
