Process Integration Engineer III (Quantum Technology)

Location: Albany, NY or Santa Clara, CA, United States. Travel required up to 10% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year.

What you will do

• Create process, module, and device integration solutions for photonic platforms and quantum structures.
• Develop 3D integration and advanced packaging solutions for multiple platforms.
• Work with packaging, process, hardware, and metrology teams to develop materials, processes, and structures for quantum devices.
• Design experiments, collect and analyze data, measure material and device properties, and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex process engineering issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, startups, universities, vendors, suppliers, and R&D teams to develop enabling technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Experience solving complex problems through analysis of multiple information sources.
• Ability to explain difficult information, build consensus, and support colleagues with less experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
