Technical Proposal Writer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, based anywhere on the East Coast of the United States

Salary: $86,000–$135,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage RFI, RFQ, RFP, DDQ, and security questionnaire responses from intake and qualification through final submission.
• Prioritize concurrent proposal assignments, establish schedules, coordinate milestones, and manage stakeholder and compliance reviews.
• Analyze customer requirements and create compliance matrices, response outlines, schedules, templates, and win themes.
• Coordinate contributions from Sales, Sales Engineering, Product, Strategy, Legal, Information Security, and other subject-matter experts.
• Format, proofread, edit, and prepare accurate, clear, compliant, customer-facing deliverables.
• Improve proposal processes, automation, content reuse, and enablement while maintaining the proposal content library.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing complex proposals, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or cybersecurity environment.
• Experience managing high volumes of simultaneous requests with competing deadlines and limited direction.
• Strong project management, time management, critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to translate technical information into customer-focused narratives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and proposal management platforms such as Responsive/RFPIO or Loopio.
• Willingness to work across time zones and geographies as needed to meet customer deadlines, with experience using AI technologies to improve workflows and business outcomes.
