Bilingual HR Generalist (English/Spanish)

Location: Thousand Oaks, California, United States; travel to different sites and locations as needed

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage employee relations, onboarding, recruitment, retention, training, performance management, and HR compliance.
• Coach managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, separations, and workplace investigations.
• Support both union and non-union environments, including compliance with company policies and collective bargaining agreement requirements.
• Prepare and maintain personnel transactions, employee statistics, government reports, separation documentation, and HR records.
• Coordinate engagement initiatives, manager training, site visits, talent reviews, and employee feedback action plans.
• Partner with operations and finance on compensation changes, wage reviews, special projects, and personnel-related hearings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
• Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency required.
• Experience in both union and non-union environments required.
• Ability to travel to different sites and locations as needed.
• A valid driver’s license and compliance with SBM Driver Approval requirements may be required.
