Technical Manager, Project Engineering (Space Systems)

What you will do

• Lead and manage a direct staff of 20–30 project engineers across multiple programs.
• Own the Integrated Master Schedule and direct planning, execution, and delivery of work products from Integrated Product Teams.
• Lead workforce development, including hiring, staffing, coaching, retention, engagement, and career development.
• Provide engineering staffing and labor planning for programs, pursuits, and internal projects involving RF-based space payloads and integrated space vehicles.
• Support business pursuits and proposals, including technical proposal and Basis of Estimate reviews and approvals.
• Develop technical strategies and operational plans that affect program execution across the assigned portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of related experience, graduate degree with at least 10 years, or 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Direct management experience in an integrated engineering organization.
• Prior experience as a Project Engineer, Integrated Product Team Leader, or Control Account Manager.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Applicants must be eligible for U.S. government security clearance; clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
