Technical Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Phoenix Metropolitan Area, Arizona, USA; exceptional candidates elsewhere may be considered. US citizenship and US Person status are required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.

Total compensation: $115K–$160K, including base salary, variable pay when applicable, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead R&D projects from inception through planning, execution, delivery, and completion.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, tracking technical deliverables, quality, timelines, budgets, and process adherence.
• Drive airborne product definition and development from research and design through testing and market launch.
• Create project plans covering scope, milestones, resources, timelines, and budgets, and adjust them as needed.
• Communicate project progress, risks, challenges, and strategic direction to stakeholders and executives.
• Conduct risk analysis, track KPIs, maintain compliance with quality gates and industry standards, and protect intellectual property.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering or another relevant technical field.
• 5+ years of project or program management experience.
• Experience specifying and designing airborne products; RF engineering knowledge is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, communication, and presentation skills.
• US citizenship and US Person status with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
