Live Event Producer & Production Coordinator

Location: Hybrid role in the Greater San Francisco Area, California, United States; remote most days with in-office and onsite work required for client meetings and production support.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually.

What you will do

• Independently produce assigned live events, broadcasts, recurring programs, and hybrid experiences from planning through onsite execution and post-production wrap.
• Develop production plans, timelines, run of show documents, rehearsal schedules, call sheets, staffing plans, budgets, and project trackers.
• Lead production meetings, technical discussions, rehearsals, speaker preparation, technical checks, and show-day execution.
• Coordinate technical directors, show callers, stage managers, broadcast engineers, streaming teams, AV partners, vendors, talent, and stakeholders.
• Manage production logistics including crews, equipment, travel, credentials, production spaces, vendors, purchase orders, invoices, and final budget reconciliation.
• Support senior producers on larger events, own defined workstreams, identify risks and dependencies, and maintain accurate production documentation and archived assets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience producing live events, broadcasts, corporate events, studio productions, or similar experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage productions from planning through execution and wrap, including budgets, schedules, rehearsals, and show documentation.
• Hands-on experience with multi-camera broadcast production, livestreaming, studio production, and hybrid event delivery.
• Experience working with audio, video, lighting, broadcast, streaming, staging, and show operations teams.
• Strong project-management, communication, organizational, risk-management, and follow-through skills.
• Must be comfortable working onsite in live production environments and regularly standing, walking, and moving throughout filming locations. Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace is required.

Nice to have

• Experience using ShoFlo, Airtable, and Frame.io.
• Experience working with an event production agency, broadcast production company, or internal corporate production team.
• Experience producing corporate broadcasts, conferences, executive-facing programs, and other high-visibility live experiences.
• Working knowledge of ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, and other emerging AI platforms.
