Data Center Construction Project Manager

Location: Richmond, VA; approximately 4–5 days per week onsite, subject to client needs.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional compensation may include bonuses, a 401(k) match, and benefits.

What you will do

• Independently manage full-scope construction projects while supporting components of other projects.
• Lead and mentor project teams while managing schedule, scope, budget, and client objectives.
• Manage project risks, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery plans.
• Represent clients and maintain relationships with A&E professionals, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Oversee invoicing, collections, and add-services opportunities.
• Gather requirements, assess needs, and resolve complex project challenges and conflicts.

Requirements

• 3+ years of construction project management experience and a thorough understanding of building design and construction processes.
• 2+ years managing critical-environment construction projects such as data centers, laboratories, or hospitals.
• Experience with MEP in ground-up construction.
• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide local support in Richmond, VA, with approximately 4–5 days per week onsite.
