Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments by phone and in person, document findings, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide routine and specialty-related nursing care, including phlebotomy, medication administration, vital-sign measurement, specimen preparation, and complex procedures.
- Triage incoming telephone calls, interpret abnormalities in tests and procedures, and take appropriate remedial action.
- Manage urgent and emergent medical situations, including cardiac-arrest protocols and operation of emergency equipment.
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, clinical departments, administrative units, outside agencies, and facilities.
- Initiate patient education, support staff learning, and serve as a resource for clinical problem-solving and delegation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Active Registered Professional Nurse licensure in Illinois is required.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification is required.
- Current nursing experience within the past five years, or graduation within the past two years. Less than six months of experience requires approval from the NMG Director of Professional Development.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on four 10-hour shifts from Tuesday through Friday across North Region clinics.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- One to two years of ambulatory or acute-care experience.
- Oncology experience may be required for some roles.
