Phlebotomist Float

Location: Onsite across Lowell, Massachusetts; Jersey City, New Jersey; Liverpool, New York; Oxon Hill, Maryland; Laurel, Maryland; and Chevy Chase, Maryland, United States. Travel to additional sites is required when needed.

Salary: $20.00–$27.00 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 per hour float incentive and mileage reimbursement.

What you will do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Enter patient information accurately and process billing information and payments when required.
• Provide customer service and complete administrative and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional clinics and locations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, an accredited training program, or at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a record of excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test and be at least 21 years old.

Nice to have

• At least one year of phlebotomy experience.
• Current or previous hirify.global experience.
