Float MA/LPN - NW Ohio

Location: Health center locations in NW Ohio, including Archbold, Napoleon, Bryan, Defiance, and Wauseon. This float role requires travel between locations and coverage availability from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Fridays.

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience, and skill level.

What you will do

• Support patients throughout the visit, including rooming, check-in, check-out, scheduling, and medical record requests.
• Collect vital signs and updated health information, review medical history, and prepare patients for provider visits.
• Perform blood draws, injections, wound bandaging, immunizations, medication administration, and other procedures under provider direction.
• Document accurate patient information, process test results, and communicate results according to provider instructions.
• Coordinate referrals, specialist visits, outside care, and patient outreach to address gaps in care.
• Travel between clinics as needed, cover absent teammates or vacancies, and maintain consistent workflows across locations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
• Ability to travel between multiple health center locations and work a flexible coverage schedule.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
