Phlebotomist - Float

Location: Raritan, Jersey City, Freehold, Belleville, or East Orange, New Jersey; Oxon Hill, Laurel, Chevy Chase, or Rockville, Maryland; or Liverpool, New York, United States

Salary: $17.75–$26.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour float incentive and mileage reimbursement.

What you will do

• Perform blood collections through venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen records.
• Enter patient and billing information, process payments when required, and complete administrative duties.
• Provide customer service to patients and travel to additional sites as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification, an accredited training program, or at least six months of phlebotomy experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven record of customer service.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision and work overtime when needed.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

• Current or previous hirify.global experience.
• One or more years of phlebotomy experience.

• Monday through Friday schedule with varying hours between 6:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., plus alternating Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
