Software Development Engineer II (AI/Java)

Contract engagement for one year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable Java software components and services.
• Implement AI-driven application functionality using Cursor.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define and deliver features.
• Optimize model performance and system latency across distributed environments.
• Design REST APIs and backend services, conduct code reviews, and maintain coding best practices.
• Implement and monitor CI/CD pipelines, model deployment workflows, and architecture improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional or project-based software development experience and a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Go, Kotlin, C++, or another programming language.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Familiarity with software testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Ability to independently translate functional requirements into working technical solutions.
