VP, Corporate Development (Crypto)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States; hybrid with managers and teams deciding which 10+ days per month to work in the office

What you will do

• Develop market intelligence and strategic perspectives across key categories in the crypto ecosystem.
• Lead acquisitions and investments from opportunity qualification and market mapping through business cases and transaction completion.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Finance, Legal, Tax, and People teams on evaluation, due diligence, and post-deal integration.
• Build relationships with blockchain entrepreneurs, investors, founders, CEOs, and industry participants to generate proprietary deal flow.
• Develop strategic partnerships and internal processes for the corporate development function.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, including backtesting acquisition performance against investment theses.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or Corporate Finance.
• Proven experience managing multiple complex transactions through all phases, from inception to completion.
• Experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
• Mastery of financial modeling, including three-statement analysis, valuation, and market data models.
• Sophisticated understanding of blockchain technology and traditional financial services.
• Strong relationship-building, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
