Head of Corporate Development (Semiconductor): Leading strategic analysis and execution of M&A, divestitures, investments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships in the optical communications and semiconductor industries with an accent on financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction structuring. Focus on negotiating definitive agreements, developing synergy plans, managing post-transaction integration, and translating complex transactions into recommendations for senior leadership and the Board.

What you will do

Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer and executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Identify and evaluate M&A, divestiture, investment, joint venture, and strategic partnership opportunities.
Build financial analyses covering valuation, accretion and dilution, returns, scenarios, sensitivities, capital structure, and accounting implications.
Lead or support transactions through opportunity assessment, due diligence, valuation, negotiations, documentation, and integration.
Prepare presentations and recommendations for the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive leadership.
Develop synergy plans, manage transaction pipelines, and coordinate with legal counsel, investment banks, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

At least five years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or a related field.
Hands-on experience leading deals from start to finish.
Strong financial modeling, valuation, accounting, accretion and dilution, and transaction-structuring skills.
Experience communicating complex financial and strategic issues to senior executives and Board members.
Ability to manage confidential information, work independently, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and manage competing priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

Corporate development experience at a public company.
Experience in optical communications, photonics, semiconductor, electronics, or broader technology industries.
MBA or another advanced degree.
