Senior Finance Manager (SaaS)

Location: US-REMOTE; remote role

Estimated base salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead annual planning, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and analysis for R&D departments.
• Own the R&D P&L, including headcount, infrastructure and hosting costs, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses.
• Coordinate headcount and resource planning with engineering and product roadmaps.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Partner with engineering, platform, and corporate FP&A teams on cost analysis and long-range planning.
• Develop repeatable financial processes, mentor a senior analyst, and identify AI-driven automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in FP&A, engineering finance, or a related area, ideally in high-growth SaaS.
• Experience partnering with engineering or product teams and understanding cloud infrastructure cost drivers.
• Senior finance leadership and mentoring experience.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel functions.
