Director, Finance (Healthcare)

Location: Dallas, TX or New York, NY; hybrid with three days in the office per week

Salary: $200,000–$230,000 base salary annually, plus annual bonus depending on location, level, and relevant experience.

What you will do

• Lead the annual long-range and budget planning process from kickoff through board presentation.
• Coordinate with Corporate Strategy and department finance leads to translate revenue and margin targets into functional budgets and staffing plans.
• Rebuild the enterprise forecasting model, with particular focus on client-level revenue forecasting and business drivers such as marketing activations.
• Improve forecasting accuracy, standardize methodologies, and establish repeatable planning frameworks.
• Manage and develop a team of two, including a dedicated Senior Analyst, Finance.
• Present budget recommendations, model output, and forecasting methodology to the CFO and executive team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking, including at least two years owning a budget or forecasting process end to end.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience building or rebuilding three-statement models.
• Ability to translate top-down revenue growth and margin targets into bottoms-up functional plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including concise executive briefings and real-time follow-up analysis.
• Direct people-management experience or clear readiness to manage a first direct report.
• Experience with financial software such as NetSuite and reporting tools such as Power BI.
