Kubernetes Engineer - Expert

Location: Katowice, Zabrska 19, Poland

Salary: 16,000–24,000 PLN gross per month

hirify.global Poland builds and manages Kubernetes-based platforms and infrastructure systems for ING.

What you will do

• Work on the product backlog and refine features for current and new platforms.
• Build integrations between infrastructure systems to support end-to-end customer journeys.
• Manage, maintain, and improve existing platforms using GitOps practices.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs, provide enablement, and promote best practices.
• Provide rotational 24x7 standby coverage, including weekends and evenings.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience working with PaaS.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Experience with Portworx or Minio.
• English at B2/C1 level.
• Availability for rotational standby duty outside regular working hours.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software-designed storage.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and networking technologies.
• Hands-on experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Go programming experience for API development and maintenance.
